Nerine krigei grows in damp depressions in grassland.
The flat, broad, erect and spirally twisted leaves are very prominent and diagnostic.
Also known as ‘Draaiblaar Nerine‘
Can be used as cut flowers.

Nerine krigei produce fleshy seeds that are programmed to germinate immediately.
Therefore seeds that are ripe (often easily detached from the flowering spike) should be sown right away into a well drained mix.
Nerine seeds are best pushed gently into the surface.
Plant in a group for the best effect or create pockets of pink throughout the garden in damp areas.
Suitable for containers.
